- 01Choosing the right consultation depends on how in-depth you'd like to go from the start. Option 1: General Consultation: $299 This is a great starting point if you're not sure where to begin! Duration: Up to 60 minutes • One-on-one consultation with our Nurse Practitioner, Shelby Rojas • InBody composition analysis and review (provides in-depth insights into your body composition, including body fat percentage, muscle mass, visceral fat, basal metabolic rate and more!) • Open discussion of your symptoms, concerns and goals • Review of your health history • Guidance on what might be going on and next steps • Option to upgrade later if you decide to pursue comprehensive lab work (+$150) *Best for those who simply want to sit down and discuss your symptoms, concerns and goals without a lab work review. Typically for those who want a personalized weight loss plan or peptide therapy plan without the need for lab work. Option 2: Comprehensive Metabolic/Hormone Consultation: $449 This option is for those who want a deeper, data-driven evaluation right away. Duration: Up to 90 minutes • Everything included in the General Consultation • Lab work ordered before the consultation (hormones (sex hormones and full thyroid panel), metabolic panel, inflammatory markers, micronutrients and more!) • Labs are ordered through U of R or Quest and you are able to use your insurance for coverage • In-depth review and interpretation of your lab results and root-cause evaluation • More detailed, personalized treatment plan *Best if you're ready to dive deeper into your metabolic and hormone health and discover the root-cause of your symptoms and for those seeking answers backed by lab data. Typically for those wanting to start a hormone plan (HRT, TRT or thyroid optimization), or find out the root-cause of their weight concerns before starting a weight loss program. Option 3: Aesthetics Consultation: $50 This option is for those interested in any of our aesthetics offerings including Botox, Microneedling, Derma PRP, hair restoration or exosome treatments. Duration: 15 minutes • One-on-one consultation with Nurse Practitioner Shelby Rojas • Personalized facial, skin and/or scalp assesment and treatment recommendations • Discussion of your aesthetic goals (hair restoration, facial volume regeneration, wrinkle support, etc) • Review of pricing and treatment plan options • Oppurtunity to ask questions and feel fully informed • No pressure to move forward, completely optional • $50 deposit can be applied towards your treatment plan
- 02Batavia Wellness NP offers a consultation experience that is very different from what you may be used to in traditional healthcare. Each consultation is 60-90 minutes, one-on-one with our Board Certified Nurse Practitioner, Shelby Rojas, allowing the time and space to truly understand your symptoms, concerns, and goals- without feeling rushed or unheard. Shelby takes a personalized approach, listening carefully, addressing your concerns, and working with you to develop real, actionable solutions. Treatment plans are thoughtfully designed to not only improve your health, but also enhance your overall quality of life, confidence, and how you feel day to day. We operate on a concierge model of care, meaning you work directly with Shelby throughout your journey, no intermediaries, no being passed between providers who don't know you or your health. Just consistent, personalized care from a provider who is deeply passionate and invested in helping you feel your bet and truly understands what you're going through.
- 03No, consultations are not covered by insurance. Batavia Wellness NP is a cash-based practice, and all consultation fees are paid out of pocket. This allows for a more personalized, concierge-style approach, with longer, in-depth visits (60-90 minutes) that are focused on understanding your health rather than rushed, time-limited appointments often required by insurance based-care. However, you are welcome to use your HSA or FSA card if you have one. You may also request an invoice to submit to your insurance for potential reimburseement or to apply to your deductible, although coverage and reimbursement is not guarenteed. You are able to apply your insurance for lab work coverage since we send lab orders through URMC (U of R) and Quest. That said, because we often order comprehensive panels, coverage varies depending on your specific insurance plan. Ultimately, your insurance provide determines what is covered and what is not.
- 04Appointments are offered both in person or virtual (zoom video from the convenience of your own home. ***Please note that effective April 15th, appointments are currently offered via telehealth zoom video visits while Shelby is on maternity leave. Return to office date to be determined (Summer 2026).

Once your booking form and payment are received, our office will reach out to you within 24 hours to schedule your consultation.

This allows for longer visits, more thorough evaluations, and a focus on root-case health rather than quick, symptom-based treatment. Additionally, our treatment plans include bioidentical hormone options and compounded formularies that are typically not covered by insurance.
